Locker Debacle

This week is turning out to be considerably more tiring than I first thought. What with the international evening over with and not a lot of homework, I really should be feeling relaxed. Instead, I feel as if my head could crack open, like an egg.

Because of the miniscule sizes of our lockers, my friend and I found a locker that was luckily empty and put our bulky things in it, like our PE bags. Today, a lock was put on that locker.

So we went to mr. C, to ask if he removed anything from the lockers. He said no, and gave us a sign that said "This locker does not belong to you. Please remove all belongings from here - Mr. C" to stick on that locker. But the thing was that the locker wasn't ours at all! So we headed to the secondary office.

There, we told the lady that we had "lost" our things from "our" locker. She looked at us pointedly. Then promptly asked for my name. We were so busted, when my locker combination didn't fit the one we were trying to find out about. But she jerked her hand to the room next door and there lay our PE bags and jacket!! :D We were so giddy, and were excited as we went back to the lockers, flushed with adrenaline.
The thing is, if the school actually purchaised bigger lockers, we wouldn't have such a problem. It's so unfair that some have these insy-winsy lockers while others have gigantic ones that are more than twice the size of ours'! I wish the selfish teachers will begin to see that we students are not to be ignored and that we don't have a roomy and comfortable office to go to.

They think our generation has it easy. But guess what? It's far from that. We are soon going to be forced with the extreme problems of global warming, animal extinction and the increasing amount of violence in this world. They think we are spoiled, idiotic and ungrateful brats. But I wonder if they were any better. Teachers think that have all the authority and they shout at us to respect them. But hasn't anyone told them that respect has to be earned?

Better everytime

Yay! I went to my orthodontist today and didn't get a beating! Yippee :D
So today I was good and didn't get there half an hour late and brushed my teeth carefully. He ended up saying "Zai Jian" [goodbye in chinese] in this really weird way as if he was trying to say something through hypothermia lips. Bizaaaare.

Headache. Stomache ache. And every kind of depressive word that ends with -ache.

I'm thirsty. I need liquor. Just kidding I need water.

Hair fanatic

Yeah! My hair straightener just arrived! I actually posted this post a while ago, but since it never appeared, I'm just posting it again.
It's a Remington Wet2Straight I really have no clue what the whole name is, but it works well, looks good and I'm happy with it :D.

I wanted to get a GHD, but a friend said that you might only use that if you are a professional or if you work at a Hair salon, so I got a Remington instead.
And btw if you want to purchase any hair products just ask me about it: I've done tons of research :P

I hate my dentist

Okay, so you may hear this from every teenager around, but my feeling towards mine pure hatred, stronger than that between Harry Potter and Voldemort. I HATE MY EFFING DENTIST.

I think I should explain the reason for my disgust first.
1) He never does anything. All he ever does is check if my braces are doing well then he lets his nurses do all the work.
2) His nose is huge, so when he looks at my teeth I can see all the hair in it.
3) Today I forgot about my appointment, but I was already home. I decided to go anyway. So I rushed for one hour to my dentist's fucking office, then the dentist tells his bitch of a nurse to just give me a toothbrush and brush my teeth. I don't know if he was paying me back for being late (my dad already called his office though) or if he was just being the Son of a Bitch that I thought he was the first day I ever say him. But when I finished, he was all "you can go and get your next appointment at the desk". I thought I was supposed to go and get an app. then go back to his retarded chair. But it turned out that i was finished and was supposed to get an appointment for next week (usually I get apps. every month or so), because apparently this time I took too long and wasted time blah blah blah.
By that time, he had already left, so I couldn't be all "HEY! But I rushed here in an hour, can't I just please get my braces tightened and godammed finished with?"

I know I'm being immature and not at all grown-up about this, but couldn't they be just a bit more sympathetic? Hell, that wouldn't be hard at all, since they weren't sympathetic at ALL! And since I'm already childish enough today, one more won't hurt: His surname begins with R and ends with a Y (so be careful when choose dentists!), and comes from a family of dentists. His offices are located in the first district. Do not go to him to get your teeth tightened

First Day Back

This is yet another post written in the school library while I'm waiting for my Chinese lesson to start. These new Mac computers are seriously the bomb! They look awesome, feel awesome and ARE awesome. I'm really considering getting one of them.
Anyway, today was way depressing. I hated all my classes. Come on: double math, german, physics, and chemistry?
The only lessons I should have enjoyed were art and drama. I say should have because both teachers of the subject didn't let us do a lot as individuals. We basically talked a lot and discussed maybe random issues and problems and things. All that drilled a hole through my brain. More lessons like that and I'll have a brain like a cheese.
My school day ended with 45 minutes of chemistry (dreadful) and listening to everyone discuss JJ's hickey and how he puked into some girl's mouth or whatever. Sometimes I wonder if I'm actually an alien. Well, recently anyway.

I mean, when some people say a joke and everyone laughs I think to myself "What was so funny?" But of course I don't say that out loud because that'd be really bad pupil behavior. Plus, I also sometimes feel really tired, and only can I revive when I'm alone, with no one to talk to and only myself to listen to. It's hard. And I don't understand it. I wish someone could help me with that. It'd be so much easier if someone could understand and guide me (like Dumbledore with Harry :P) But, alas, that is not to be. Maybe I'm just weird this way. So depressing.

waste of time

These last few days before school are pretty uneventful. I'm basically wasting time and trying to revise for the tests I'm having soon.
Today I achieved something that I'm really proud of! I solved the Rubik's cube!

countdown to school

School starts on monday and I'm so dreading it. Not that I hate school or anything. It's just that a) I have to wake up very early b) I still have to read my german book and c) I have still so many things to complete!

I wish I could have Hermione Granger's time turner and just keep on going back to have more time. But that raises a lot of other questions in me: Will I keep on aging although I go back? I mean, I don't want to be 90 years old when it's time for graduation!!
Or maybe I could have a do-everything quill that you can buy at Weasley's Wizard Weazes. Wouldn't that be wonderful? :D

I finished writing a review for the Spotlight. Which reminds me: I'm not going to be your favourite school magazines layout editor :(. I was kind of sad when I found out but I'm really glad that Linda got it. After all, if I sign up for it in a few years, I could really use the extra points :)

I'm watching Ratatouille later. Can't wait!

new year

2008 is finally here and all I have to say is that I hope it will be better than 2007. Not that 2007 sucked or anything, but it was just a really bumpy ride. The kind you have when you drive over huge rocks and nearly dislodge your brain. But I guess some aspects of it were really good too. The Murau trip, skiing in the mountains with friends, celebrating the last few moments of 2007, getting my hamster...

I celebrated new year with a couple of friends in Stephansplatz. We first stayed at one of my friend's house to play Singstar and Eyetoy, then went out to the various stages to listen to music and stuff.

By one of the stages, there was quite a big crowd and the woman on stage through these caps into the air and people caught them; I was one of them! But the hat broke after a while anyway, so there's nothing to be too please about. But at least I got one!! :D

Then we went to this photo stand closeby, where they took cool photos for you and printed them out. It was really exciting (a scan of that picture will be up here soon!)

We went back to my friend's house after that to eat pizza and start a few minutes' of monopoly. But monopoly is to be played when you're still, bored and in a peaceful mood, none of which we had back then. So we just played more singstar etc.

The second time we went out, we explored more stages, but none of them were as much fun as the first one we visited. It was nice to walk around and see all those different people excited about the new year. Some had these pig hats, which are supposed to mean good luck or something, like a four-leafed clover.

The final countdown was done on my friend's rooftop. We saw people on the opposite building shoot fireworks and make a fire. We all had champaigne bottles (though it didn't taste that nice) and we were all really hyper. More eyetoy and singstar was followed until is was about 2 am. We washed and changed then got down to some gossip and talking so it was nearly 3 am that we fell asleep.

able to sit down finally and write

phew! I finally have time now! These winter holidays really stress me out, what with all the presents to get ready, skiing to do and new year's eve to celebrate, I barely have time to update my blog!
Anyway, skiing was really eventful. Our original ski group included Xiaozhou, Stella, Amy, Petra, Guki, Linda, Dingding and me. We skied on both blue and red slopes...just not the black ones. Which was a mistake, because it turned out that the black slopes weren't actually that difficult. My dad said that they didn't have as much ice and - even though they were rather steep - were quite easy to ski down.

Christmas eve was kind of boring. There was a show, which consisted of performances from different kids and adults. The ones in the beginning were - to be frank - really lullaby-ish and no one really paid any attention. All the kids were supposed to go on stage and sing, so all of us hid under the tables (yes, shameful I know, but it really couldn't be helped :P).

Things were getting really boring so most of us went over to the "commonroom" where there were snacks and drinks. All the guys each commandeered one packet of chips, as if it were for their individual eating only. What baffoons.

Leaving the show was a minor mistake, as we missed out on the best performances, like the older kids singing "last christmas" and four adults dancing as the 4 little ballerinas. How regretful! I remember the night vividly, because that was the night i twisted my ankle. My note to all of you: NEVER jump down stairs! You're really really regret it afterwards!

Anyway, now that I've finished writing about christmas eve, I have to go and revise chemistry (covalent bonding, the atomic structure blah blah) so I'll write later again!
